Ask them to Play Snap with you!
How to Play Snap
Number of Players:
- 2 or more (ideal for larger groups).
Objective:
- To win all of the cards.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Dealing the Cards:
- Shuffle the deck.
- Deal the cards face down, one at a time, to each player until the entire deck is distributed.
2. Starting the Game:
- The first player flips over their top card, starting a new face-up pile.
- The game continues in a clockwise direction, with each player flipping over their top card onto their own face-up pile.
3. Spotting a Match:
- If any card that’s flipped matches a card already in play (on another player’s pile), the first person to shout “Snap” wins both piles.
- Add the won cards to the bottom of the winner’s face-down pile.
4. Snap Ties:
- If two players shout “Snap” at the same time, the matching piles are combined and placed face up in the center of the table. This forms the Snap Pot.
5. Snap Pot:
- When someone sees a card matching the top card of the Snap Pot, they call out “Snap Pot” and win all the cards in the Snap Pot.
6. Running Out of Cards:
- If a player runs out of cards in their face-down pile, they flip their face-up pile over and continue playing with these cards.
7. Winning the Game:
The winner is the player who collects all the cards by the end of the game.
