Clear the Shelters – Event by Gwinnett Animal Shelter
“Gear up for some tail-wagging fun at the annual Clear the Shelters event at the Bill Atkinson Animal Center!
Gwinnett Animal Welfare and Enforcement is joining the nationwide campaign, spearheaded by NBCUniversal Local, to find loving homes for shelter pets. Join us on Saturday, August 24 from 11:00am to 4:00pm for a fun-filled day of free pet adoptions, hands-on activities, local vendors, and more!

Adoptions are first-come, first-served basis and include vaccinations, microchips, and spaying/neutering. To learn more about pet adoptions, visit GwinnettAnimalWelfare.com.
Parking is only available at the Department of Water Resources office, located at 684 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville. A shuttle will be provided to take guests to the event site.”
