“Join us as we learn about the Hungry Ghost Festival! We will discuss traditions during this holiday and create origami lanterns you can take home.
In many Chinese-speaking countries, Summer is the time to honor and celebrate the dead. Similar to how many Western countries have Halloween, these places celebrate what is called the Hungry Ghost Festival. Join us as we learn more about the traditions and history behind this holiday. We will be making origami lanterns you can take home.”
Ages 6-15
When: Monday, August 12, 2024 (4:00pm-5:00pm)
Location: Collins Hill Library Branch, 455 Camp Perrin Road Northeast, Lawrenceville
