It’s time for kindergarten! On Thursday, March 27, GCPS will host a Kindergarten Registration Carnival from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Centerville Community Center, located at 3025 Bethany Church Road, in Snellville.

This special event is for families with children turning five on or before September 1, 2025. It will feature engaging activities for children, free giveaways, and is open to all families, regardless of their school zone.

Kim Holland, GCPS Executive Director of Early Learning and School Readiness, says the event will be fun for children and helpful to parents. “We are thrilled to host the Kindergarten Registration Carnival,” Holland shares. “It’s an event designed to make the registration process enjoyable and stress-free for families. We’ll have computer stations ready, and friendly GCPS staff there to help families with the registration process. Plus, you’ll find plenty of free resources to prepare your child for Kindergarten. Our goal is to ensure every child is ready to thrive in Kindergarten.”
