Memorial Day Ceremony (In-Person & Virtual)

“Please join us in remembering our fallen military and public service heroes at our annual Memorial Day Ceremony. Attend in person at the Gwinnett Fallen Heroes Memorial in Lawrenceville or right here on Facebook Live at 1:00pm.
This year, we will add World War II Soldier Edaniel Hinton Moore and Georgia State Patrol Trooper Jimmy Cenescar to the Fallen Heroes Memorial. Trooper Cenescar was killed in January 2024 in a single-vehicle crash attempting to stop a fleeing motorcycle on Interstate 85 North.
Also, hear from our keynote speaker, Georgia Department of Veterans Service Commissioner Patricia Ross. Commissioner Ross, a retired United States Air Force Colonel with more than 25 years of active duty service, has been leading the state government agency since 2021. She leads the agency’s mission to advise, counsel, and assist Georgia’s veterans and their families in receiving their benefits.
